Nathan Murray is a healthcare entrepreneur with more than 10 years of healthcare experience. He has worked for several large healthcare payers in operations and product development. He has also worked for several healthcare technology companies assisting healthcare payers and consumers understand and make important decisions based on healthcare costs. Most recently, Nathan has led the development of a direct-to-consumer Medicare marketing program and has built the largest online Medicare partner network. His responsibilities included contracting, partner and consumer marketing, call center operations and strategic planning.
Nathan has a strong passion for healthcare and is an active member in the Health 2.0 movement. He earned is Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the University of Utah and his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University. Nathan lives in Laguna Niguel, California with his wife and son and enjoys basketball, surfing and spending time with his family.
Nate works closely with the procurement, finance, and benefits design teams to ensure administrative and financial compliance of the health services implemented. Working closely with the various finance teams, Nate helps develop shared savings programs that align incentives across the partnership and deliver objective improvements along the cost, quality, and experience dimensions.
