Wendy Kong, FNP
Wendy is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Health who is licensed in New York, New Jersey and California. She has over 10 years of clinical experience in primary care, women’s health and travel health. She is interested in promoting a healthy workforce through company sponsored health and wellness programs.
Wendy was born in Malaysia and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing. Wendy enjoys traveling around the world and educating travelers on prophylactic vaccinations, prophylactic medications and various health concerns. She earned the Certificate of Knowledge in Travel Health (CTH®) from the International Society of Travel Medicine in May 2012.
Nicole Mendez, MSN, FNP-BC
Nicole Mendez is an adventurous and courageous individual who enjoys exploring the world and discovering its hidden gems. As a pastime, Nicole loves to practice mind-body connection through yoga, paddle boarding and practice being a top chef by trying diverse cooking and baking recipes. She also enjoys traveling to new places. Whether she’s zip lining through a rainforest in Costa Rica or immersing herself in the lives of fictional characters by turning the pages of a book.
Nicole Mendez moved to New York City from South Florida to pursue her career as a Nurse Practitioner. She always had a passion for science and graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2009. She then took a year off to apply to medical schools. During that time, she helped her parents take care of her grandfather who had been diagnosed with advanced Alzheimer’s disease. The personal care she provided to her grandfather inspired her to pursue a career in nursing because it would allow her to develop a deeper relationship with her patients.
She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Louisiana College in 2011. Shortly after, she accepted a position at Doctor P Phillips Hospital in Orlando and proceeded to work in a fast paced critical care setting. After one year she was promoted to charge nurse, which further expanded her knowledge and experience. In 2015, she applied to the University of Miami’s Masters of Nursing program where she was exposed to a more in-depth knowledge of medicine. Nicole is passionate about educating her patients and providing superior care to her patients as well as stressing the importance of preventative health care.
Kristine is a dedicated, hardworking Medical Assistant with an attentive personality who enjoys interacting with every person she meets. After having worked in customer service before, Kristine found great satisfaction in meeting customer’s expectations. From there, she went on to pursue a career in the medical field where she is better able to help those that are in need of medical care.
Knowing full well how important first impressions are, Kristine believes in being fully present with every patient interactions. Now being a part of the Crossover Health team, her goal is to give exceptional healthcare with undivided attention to every patient she meets.
In her free time, Kristine enjoys discovering new cafes and places to go in the city, and spending time with her family and friends.
Kiara graduated from Syracuse University (GO ORANGE) with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science. Throughout her time at SU she worked as an intern in various inpatient and outpatient clinics with the hope of pursuing a career in the medical field. Kiara is an energetic person who was born and raised in the Bronx. Kiara values time spent with her family and friends. She loves to bake cookies with her two younger brothers and attend Sunday Brunches in NYC with her friends.
Kiara’s cheerful attitude has always brought a smile to anyone whom she encounters. She has always had a passion for helping others and started working at the age of 16. Her work backgrounds vary from retail to medical facilities, which allowed her to foster professional relationships, with both patients and clients, while expanding her knowledge in different work settings.
Anastasia has a gift for relationship building which she has honed in a variety of clinical settings over her working experience. In her role as host, Anastasia is the first person to greet you and help you feel welcome as you begin the care experience. She also helps with any patient service issues, including coordinate appropriate follow up. She was fortunate to work and gain experience while in various medical clinics ranging from a surgery office to a physical therapy clinic. Anastasia is a San Francisco native and a graduate of St. Mary’s College of California.
Anastasia loves San Francisco and continues to enjoy exploring and finding hidden gems the the city has to offer. She has a goal to visit every stadium in the NFL and MLB. She has a passion for sports, including both the Giants and 49ers. She previously served as a 49ers Fan ambassador where she provided game day customer service for 5 seasons. When not working she enjoys traveling and hanging with friends and family.
