Dianna Lam, OD

Dianna is a Bay Area native, born and raised in San Jose, California. She enjoyed the change of scenery she found in Southern California as she attended UC San Diego, earning her bachelor’s degree in General Biology with a minor in History. After four years of school in SoCal, it was time to move back home to the Bay Area. Once she settled in again up north, Dianna obtained her doctorate degree in Optometry at UC Berkeley, graduating with clinical honors. Her honors thesis focused on carotid artery disease and how it affects the eye.

Her training includes Meredith Morgan Eye Center at UC Berkeley, the Alameda Health System in both Oakland and Hayward, and the Veteran Affairs in Tacoma, Washington. She also completed a mission trip to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua with VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity).

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to barre and spin classes, and spending time with family, friends, and her Jack Russell Terrier, Booboo.
