Heather is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is board-certified by the ANCC and licensed in New York State. She brings over 10 years of clinical experience to her practice, in urgent care, acute care, and internal medicine. Heather is passionate about getting patients back on their feet fast, which is one reason she thrives in an urgent care setting. She is a strong believer in preventative and comprehensive medicine and is thorough when addressing her patient’s health needs. In 2017, her last practice bestowed upon her the Paragon award, which designated her as the best provider in New York and New Jersey.
Heather’s career began in 2008, outside the greater Philadelphia area at Abington Hospital, where she worked as a staff nurse. She had the opportunity to care for patients in telemetry/critical care, surgical trauma, medical surgical, neurology, and observation units. She obtained her NP at Thomas Jefferson University, which has allowed her to specialize in caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Heather has also spent time over the last decade serving as an educator and preceptor for schools like the Dixon School of Nursing and Columbia University, where she has trained future registered nurses and nurse practitioners for their careers in medicine.
Heather was born outside of Philadelphia, and loves the Eagles football team (though she promises she’s a good sport). She also enjoys travel and running, and completed her first half marathon at the age of 33. You can often find her at comedy shows supporting local comedians, in the kitchen burning a Pinterest dish, or here at Crossover Health where she provides excellent patient care.
