Jerod achieved his doctorate of physical therapy from Wichita State University before settling in the Chicago area. After achieving his goal of becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist from the Institute of Physical Art, he headed out to the west coast to promote health and optimal function. For the past four years, he has been helping his patients overcome injury, poor function, bad posture, and body mechanics issues. He prides himself on his physical assessment, clinical diagnosis, and treatment techniques, which he uses to resolve the underlying drivers of physical dysfunctions.
Jerod played competitive rugby throughout his years at Pittsburgh State University, as well as with several club teams in Kansas, Chicago, and Brazil. Being new to California, he keeps very active exploring the state’s vast natural diversity. He enjoys trail running, mountain biking, hiking, and camping. In addition to health and wellness promotion, Jerod’s other passion is music. He enjoys playing the guitar and banjo, and is particularly fond of blues and folk music.
