Julia is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked with clients up and down the peninsula in schools, agencies, private practice settings, and online with Betterhelp. Julia believes mental health care should be accessible to everyone, and is excited to join Crossover Health on their mission to provide convenient services.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Julia received her BA in Psychology and Child Development from Tufts University in Boston. She ditched the cold winters as soon as she could, returning to the Bay Area for graduate school at Santa Clara University, earning an MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Health Psychology. Julia has special training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. She is proud to have been given the ECP Scholarship award for commitment to multiculturalism and social justice.
In her free time, Julia enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the culinary scene of San Francisco, seeing live music, and cooking. Julia counteracts her love of food and all things chocolate with yoga, hiking, and tennis.
