Laura’s objective with each patient she sees is to cultivate a compassionate and safe space where the exploration of thoughts and feelings can flow freely, as she knows that healing and growth begin with a strong therapeutic alliance. Laura believes that through therapy, one has the capacity to find their full potential, flourish, and lead their best life.
With an undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree in social work (MSW) from Fordham University, Laura has extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, positive psychology, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapies. Over the course of her eight years of experience, Laura has worked with people from all walks of life while working in a variety of clinical and counseling settings, including outpatient substance abuse clinics, non-profits, mental health clinics, and community-based organizations within the public school system in New York. Laura looks forward to joining Crossover Health and working with individuals to identify goals, amend undesirable behaviors, improve relationship patterns, and achieve greater self-acceptance.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband (and their adorable dog), running, practicing Pilates, traveling, and eating good food. Restaurant recommendations are always welcome!
