Miguel is a board-certified Physical Therapist Assistant with experience in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. Currently, he holds certifications in the Graston technique, Kinesio taping, Functional Patterns, and the Postural Restoration Institute. His favorite part of working as a PTA is seeing patients recover and improve their quality of life.
Graduating with honors from the competitive Physical Therapist Assistant program at Laguardia Community College, Miguel is pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. While in college, he was part of a volunteer group of physical therapists that traveled to Cuba to provide rehab services and medical equipment for people living in the country’s rural areas.
Miguel was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, where he still resides. His hobbies include jogging, exercise, and traveling. Miguel is the proud owner of two dogs, KC and Tex—he adopted them both from Texas after Hurricane Harvey.
