Steve Nemirov, DO

Primary Care

Steve has thirty years of experience devoted to high quality, personalized care. He believes that excelling in communication and establishing relationships is crucial if you truly want to make a difference in people’s lives. The Crossover model of health care emphasizes this personal connection which is often lacking in other healthcare environments. He believes that one has to be self aware and knowledgeable about the Mind-Body connection in order to optimize health.

Years of treating chronic illnesses has reinforced the importance of prevention in the form of healthy lifestyle habits. Beyond the known benefits of fitness and nutrition, his focus is assuring that one has balance in their life. He feels this is vital in our fast-paced, technologically-advanced culture.

Steve grew up in a family of artists in Queens, New York. A strong desire to help others combined with a fascination of the human body led him to medical school in Des Moines, Iowa. From there he completed an Internal Medicine residency at Yale University. When not caring for patients you can find him biking in the hills above his home in Los Gatos or enjoying the natural beauty, wineries, and restaurants in the Bay Area. He believes in maintaining a high level of fitness and making sure that every day includes time to relax and have fun.
