Sarah Lord is Vice President of Product at Crossover Health. In this role, she uses a technology-enabled service design approach to help providers build trusting relationships, remove barriers to care and achieve results in outstanding outcomes. A veteran of the organization since 2012, she has served in leadership roles across clinical operations, engagement, and product. She has trained in Lean Six Sigma management and has successfully applied this framework to Crossover’s strategy clinical operations, strategy, marketing and engagement, and lean management for multidisciplinary healthcare delivery systems. Using human-centered design, with a focus on measurable outcomes, Sarah helps her team translate Crossover’s vision into actionable and high-value enhancements to the company’s unique care delivery services. She is passionate about making high-quality, tech-enabled healthcare accessible to all, driven by a love of solving complicated problems and developing next-generation leaders.
Prior to joining Crossover, Sarah worked for a number of community health organizations, focusing on efficient operations management, revenue cycle management, and quality improvement. After finding that delivery models were lacking in empathetic providers, trusted and consistent relationships, and an emphasis on patient experience and health literacy, she chose to focus her career on redesigning a system that puts the member at the center of their own care.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in health science from Trident University International in Cypress, California. She earned a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University, Edward C. Ageno School of Business in San Francisco. She resides in Denver with her husband and two children.
