Scott Shreeve, MD
Scott Shreeve, MD, is Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as well as director and founder of Crossover Health. He is an emergency medicine physician who has been actively involved in the design, development, and distribution of healthcare technologies that improve the delivery of care and enhance quality of life for more than two decades. He started Crossover to focus on creating innovative primary health models that improve care delivery, health outcomes, and member experience. Under his leadership, Crossover has become a nationally recognized leader by serving clients like Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, Comcast, Amazon, and Boeing.
Prior to founding Crossover Health, Dr. Shreeve was co-founder of Medsphere Systems Corp., the first open-source electronic health record (EHR) for health systems. He drove the fulfillment of large-scale EHR implementations in community hospitals, statewide health systems, and primary care clinic networks. He is also a founding member of the Health 2.0 technology and reform movement, serving as a national spokesperson and conference advisor.
Dr. Shreeve earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, and completed his emergency medicine residency training at the University of Arizona Health Science Center in Tucson. He lives in Southern California with his wife and four children near some of the best breaks on the West Coast. Dr. Shreeve maintains a blog that covers enabling technologies to transform the delivery, financing, and outcomes of high-performance health care delivery.
