Jamie joins Crossover Health with an eagerness to help patients engage actively in their health journey. She enjoys practicing full-spectrum family medicine, but also specializes in women’s health and preventative wellness medicine. She’s passionate about getting to the root of the cause and not just labeling a symptom as a diagnosis. Jamie is a member of both IFM and A4M, and believes in practicing holistically, as well as incorporating a team approach in order to better help individuals reach their wellness goals. She feels that the patient/physician relationship is a two-way road with communication being an essential component.
Jamie earned her undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University, and her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Her residency was completed at Mercy Health System in Janesville, Wisconsin in full-spectrum Family Medicine, and she has worked in the same capacity in a hospital-employed setting in Texas. In Alaska, Jamie served as Medical Director for a few years at a community clinic, and provided in-patient pediatric services. Most recently, she works in a DPC-style practice where she enjoys providing in-depth care during relaxed visits.
Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, Jamie and her family returned to her home state after their time in Wisconsin and Alaska. Outside of work, she, her husband, and their three kids love to fish, hike, swim, water surf, and play sports.
